Course Overview
The AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED course is the most comprehensive certification we offer for non-medical responders. It combines first aid fundamentals with full CPR and AED training for adults, children, and infants — giving you the skills to respond to a wide range of emergencies.
Whether you need certification for your workplace, a regulatory requirement, or simply want to be prepared for any emergency, this course covers it all. Upon successful completion, you'll receive an AHA course completion card valid for two years.

What's Covered
This all-in-one course is organized into three core modules, each building on the last to give you a complete emergency response skill set.
First Aid Fundamentals
Learn to assess an emergency scene, call for help, and provide initial care for injuries including cuts, burns, sprains, fractures, allergic reactions, and sudden illness.
CPR for All Ages
Master high-quality chest compressions and rescue breathing for adults, children, and infants — including two-rescuer CPR and relief of choking in all age groups.
AED Operation
Practice operating an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and confidently, including pad placement, device prompts, and integrating AED use into CPR.

Adult CPR & AED
Perform high-quality chest compressions and operate an AED on an adult victim.
Child CPR & AED
Apply age-appropriate CPR techniques and AED use for pediatric emergencies.
Infant CPR
Deliver safe, effective CPR to an infant using correct hand placement and compression depth.
Choking Relief
Respond to choking in conscious adults, children, and infants using back blows and abdominal thrusts.
Wound & Burn Care
Control bleeding, clean and cover wounds, and provide initial care for minor and major burns.
Injury Assessment
Recognize and provide first aid for sprains, fractures, head injuries, and other common trauma.
Sudden Illness Response
Identify and respond to signs of stroke, diabetic emergencies, seizures, and allergic reactions.
Scene Safety & EMS Activation
Assess scene safety, recognize life-threatening emergencies, and activate the emergency response system.
